Carmen Bross

Carmen joined the Foundation staff in October 2021 and has served in various roles. She is currently the Project Associate and is responsible for ensuring that foundation project goals and objectives are achieved. She also helps the Director of Strategic Initiatives with marketing and communications coordination.
Spending most of her career in manufacturing, Carmen brings six years of project management experience to the Foundation, as well as three years of 80/20 experience. While at 80/20, Carmen worked in Customer Service, primarily helping online customers, and was on the Project team.
Carmen serves on the Peabody Public Library Board of Trustees in Columbia City, Indiana, and is a graduate of Leadership Whitley County. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications at Purdue Fort Wayne. She is enthusiastic about her local community, with a current focus on animal adoption and equestrian sports.

Quick facts about Carmen
1. Carmen graduated from high school twice. Once in the United States and again in Peru.
2. When she first started at the Don Wood Foundation, her office was a converted closet with a foldout table for a desk.
3. Carmen has two and a half horses. A Thoroughbred, a Quarter Horse, and a Miniature Horse (she's the half).
