How Career and Technical Education Can Power the Future of Kosciusko and Whitley Counties
Focused on Kosciusko and Whitley counties, this two-county study examines how Career and Technical Education can better connect students to high-demand careers while supporting the long-term needs of regional employers. Conducted by TPMA in partnership with the Don Wood Foundation and OrthoWorx, the research explores program offerings, student demographics, credentials of value, and alignment with labor market demand in a region uniquely positioned to supply talent to a thriving orthopedic manufacturing sector. Its findings highlight both the strengths to build on and the gaps to address, offering a strategic call for stronger alignment, shared commitment, and coordinated action across the region.
