Grant Administrator

Carla Jordan

Carla joined the staff in November 2022 as an administrative assistant. In July 2023, she was promoted to administrative and program associate, and in November 2024, promoted to grant administrator. In her new role, she will administer the foundation's grant management system, serve as a point of contact for grantees, and provide administrative assistance to the program team.

With a background in property management, retail management, and sales, she brings over 25 years of experience in office administration and customer service. Previous experience includes owning and operating a local restaurant, serving as a Store Manager for a national coffee chain, and working as an accounting clerk for a manufacturing firm. These experiences instilled in Carla a passion for exceptional customer service.

Originally from a small farming community in Ohio, Carla moved to Fort Wayne in 2000 and has loved calling the city home while raising her family in a diverse and thriving city. She has served on the Study Connection board, as leader of her church’s young women’s small group, and currently serves on her church’s pastoral council.

"I'm very proud to be part of an organization that exists to help grow and sustain our region's workforce."

What is the best Fun Committee activity we’ve done in the office?

My favorite Fun Committee activity was our inaugural Fall Bingo game. It was great to see everyone getting involved and celebrating one of my favorite seasons!
