Quick Facts

Share something significant to you related to your family.

I am half African American and half Puerto Rican, and I come from a big, close-knit family. I am the middle child in my immediate family, with one younger sister and one older brother. On my mom’s side, I have 12 aunts and uncles — and my grandmother was one of nine siblings — so family gatherings are never small. Ironically, my dad is an only child, which makes my family dynamic even more unique.

What is your favorite holiday?

My favorite holiday is the Fourth of July. You can usually find me at the lake with family, at Cedar Point riding every roller coaster I can, or hosting a massive cookout with family and friends. And of course, nothing tops my love for fireworks.

Who is your favorite sports team?

I am a HUGE Indiana University football and basketball fan — my mom raised me that way, and it ultimately led me to attend and graduate from IU Bloomington. I have also been rocking with the Chicago Bears ever since they lost to the Indianapolis Colts in the Super Bowl, loyal through it all! Staying in Chicago, I am a Chicago Cubs fan as well. And of course, I cheer on the Indiana Pacers, especially watching Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam do their thing.
